Who is Santiago?

I'm Santiago. I was born in Argentina, I lived 9 years in New Zealand and I've been living in the United States for more than two years now.

I've worked in small companies, big, multi-national corporations and startups. In different countries and cultures. But what really set me apart in this almost 20 years is this: I know how to interview software engineers.

I'm not saying that. I know it. I've interviewed more than 5,000 technical profiles and I truly understand how the software lifecycle works.
I know what it feels to go through an interview and realize they didn't understand a word of what's being discussed. Where you get hit with generic questions, they box you in by the stack you happen to be working on at the moment, and you can't explain everything you can do.

That's why I design interviews that allow you to show how you think, how you solve problems, how do you work with a team and how do you add value beyond the lines of code you write.

We will talk about real projects, not boilerplate questions.
